Road

The Southern Tier of New York and the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania offers thousands of miles of terrific road riding. The terrain is varied, as the valleys offer flat riding while the back roads that connect the valleys offer rolling ground with some challenging hills. The valleys are more heavily trafficked, generally with wide shoulders, while the back roads experience little traffic with a secondary road surface. Over the last 40 years of sharing the road with automobiles, I’ve found the riding to be extremely safe.
